GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Gwinnett County Police believe the same man is behind two July 10 business robberies. In both robberies he apologized to his victims saying he needed the money for his sick daughter.
The suspect struck One Stop Cleaners in the 800 block of Dogwood Road shortly before 11 a.m.
John Choe, the owner of the dry cleaners, said his wife was behind the counter when a man walked in and asked if they were hiring. She said no, and he left.
But police said the same man came back to the store minutes later with a mask on and pointed a gun at Choe's wife. "She told him 'I'm scared, don't shoot me, I'm going to give you money,'" Choe said.
